Haryana Lado Lakshmi 10th Installment Released: Rs 209 Crore for 9.98 Lakh Women

Chandigarh — The Haryana government on Monday released the 10th instalment of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, transferring Rs 209.62 crore to the bank accounts of 9.98 lakh women beneficiaries across the state. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also disbursed funds under 15 social security pension schemes on the same day. The payments were made through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system to ensure transparency and timely delivery of financial assistance to eligible families.
Rs 209.62 crore transferred to 9.98 lakh women
Chief Minister Saini told reporters that under the 10th instalment of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, Rs 209.62 crore has been deposited into the accounts of 9,98,000 beneficiaries. With this release, a total of Rs 2,042.31 crore has been disbursed to beneficiaries across 10 instalments so far. The scheme provides monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,100 to eligible women aged 23 to 60 years from families with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh.
Social security pensions: Rs 1,124.94 crore for 34.93 lakh beneficiaries
Alongside the Lado Lakshmi instalment, the Chief Minister released Rs 1,124.94 crore under 15 social security pension schemes. This amount has benefited 34,93,978 beneficiaries, including those receiving old-age pensions, disability pensions, and other welfare pensions. The government stated that these payments reflect its commitment to transparent governance and efficient delivery of welfare schemes.
Har Ghar Grihini subsidy also released
The subsidy for the month of June under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojana was also released on Monday. Under this scheme, Rs 19.17 crore was deposited into the accounts of 4,93,434 women. The scheme provides LPG cylinders at a subsidised rate of Rs 500 to eligible women in the state.
How does the Rs 2,100 payment work?
The Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana provides Rs 2,100 per month to married and unmarried women in Haryana between the ages of 23 and 60. The scheme is meant for women from families with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh. However, the government expanded the scheme in early 2026. Mothers of children who score more than 80 per cent in Class 10 or Class 12 are now also eligible to receive the benefit. The annual income limit has also been raised to Rs 1.80 lakh, though certain conditions have been added.
How is the money paid? Cash and fixed deposit combination
The government changed the payment structure of the scheme from February 2026. Now, Rs 1,100 is credited as cash to the beneficiary’s account every month, while Rs 1,000 is deposited as a fixed deposit. This fixed deposit earns interest and the assistance is provided for a period of three years. This means the full Rs 2,100 does not come as cash every month; a portion is saved as a deposit.
When and how did the scheme start?
The Haryana government launched this scheme on September 25, 2025, with the aim of providing monthly financial support to economically weaker women in the state. The first instalment was released on November 1, 2025, while the third instalment came on January 17, 2026. Instalments have been released every month since then. The 8th instalment was released on June 9, 2026, and the 9th on July 10, 2026.
How can beneficiaries check if the money has been credited?
Beneficiaries can check the status of their instalment online. They need to visit the official website of the Social Justice Department at pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in. By entering the beneficiary ID, Aadhaar number, or bank account number, the payment details can be viewed. The status can also be checked through the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’ mobile app. To check the application status, the Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID) or Aadhaar number is required.
Government’s claim: Over Rs 2,042 crore in 10 instalments
According to government data, more than Rs 2,042.31 crore has been given to beneficiaries across 10 instalments so far. This amount has been sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible women. The government says that making payments through DBT eliminates the role of middlemen and ensures that the money reaches the beneficiary directly.
