TVS Ronin Parakram Unveiled As Tribute To Armed Forces On Kargil Vijay Diwas
TVS Motor Company has unveiled a special edition of their popular Ronin motorcycle called the ‘TVS Ronin Parakram’ to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The bike was showcased during the annual TVS MotoSoul event and pays tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces.
The TVS Ronin Parakram is a custom-built motorcycle that features a unique design and color scheme inspired by the Indian Army. The bike is finished in a matte olive green color with military-style graphics and insignia. The fuel tank bears the ‘Parakram’ logo, while the side panels feature the Indian Army’s ‘Crossed Swords’ emblem.
Under the hood, the TVS Ronin Parakram is powered by the same 255.9cc, single-cylinder engine as the standard model. This engine produces 20.2 bhp of power and 19.93 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle also features a host of premium components, including upside-down forks, a monoshock rear suspension, and disc brakes at both ends. The bike weighs in at 160 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters.

The unveiling of the TVS Ronin Parakram coincides with the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, which is celebrated on July 26th every year. This day marks the successful culmination of the Kargil War, where the Indian Armed Forces successfully evicted Pakistani intruders from the Kargil sector of Jammu and Kashmir
To commemorate this historic occasion, the Indian Army has also launched an all-women bike rally called ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas Shaurya Expedition’ which will cover a distance of over 1,000 km across the country.
The TVS Ronin Parakram is a fitting tribute to the brave men and women of the Indian Armed Forces who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. It is a symbol of the nation’s gratitude and respect for their unwavering service and commitment to protecting the country.
The TVS Ronin Parakram will be available for purchase through select TVS dealerships across the country. The company has not yet announced the pricing for this special edition model, but it is expected to be slightly higher than the standard Ronin due to the custom paint job and graphics.
