In the same year, she also won a gold medal in the 1500m and 800m events at the World Para Athletics Junior Championships in Nottwil, Switzerland.
At the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Para Games, Rakshitha clinched the gold medal in the Women’s 1500m-T11 category, earning her recognition and praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This achievement further solidified her position as one of India’s top para-athletes.
